Lego Men

A little fun with lego men for the theme of “Orange”. The background is just card from a stationary shop.  

Taken with a remote shutter release (the timing took a while to figure out) and an off-camera flash.  

This month’s theme was “Looking Up”. I braved the cold to take photos of the Lloyd’s building. It was difficult to find a part not covered in scaffolding at the moment. Couple of edits of the same shot:  

Took this across the Thames for my theme of nocturnal  shots. Got a few different colour combinations of the Eye and County Hall in different greens, blues and pinks, but this was my favourite. 30 second exposure at f/22.

For this class we were manipulating physical prints of images. I was like being back at school. The ones below have been scratched with scissors, left overnight in turmeric, smeared with bleach, and framed with a secondary print of the same photo.
