First assignment in the Learning To See In Photography class at St Francis Xavier college was a Photographic Treasure Hunt.

We were given a piece of A4 paper with various words or phrases, and tasked with taking a photo for each one. The scope was wide open – you could photograph anything as long as you believe it somehow matched the theme.

Mine are below. My favourites are “scratches” and “a portrait of a stranger one arms length away”.
